Graduate students may register for no more than 19 credit hours per semester. Requests to exceed the maximum credit hour limit must be justified by the chair or director of graduate studies and approved by the Graduate School. A department should submit a letter of justification to the Graduate School in such a case. Students who have less than a 3.0 overall average or who are carrying two or more incomplete grades will not be considered.
