The appearance of a “J” on a transcript denotes an invalid grade. Students should immediately consult with the instructor to validate their grade or the “J” will revert to a grade of “F” at the end of the following semester. A student’s Applications to Candidacy cannot be approved with any outstanding “J” grades listed on his/her transcript.
