Welcome to the University at Buffalo's formal Thesis & Dissertation Submission process.

This process must be completed as a graduation requirement by:

  • Master's students who have completed a Thesis
  • All Doctoral students (excluding PharmD and JD)

The information you provide during the submission process is necessary to deliver your manuscript to ProQuest/UMI, UB's contracted vendor for publishing and cataloguing your manuscript in the University at Buffalo Libraries/ProQuest's Dissertation & Theses (PQDT) Database. The information and document(s) you provide electronically will be reviewed by the Graduate School before being delivered to ProQuest/UMI.

Please note: In addition to the formal submission of your Thesis or Dissertation, the following documents must be submitted to the Graduate School for graduation:
