AGEP Program Update:

Unfortunately, as of July 1, 2011, all AGEP program funding from the National Science Foundation to support AGEP-eligible graduate students at UB has been fully depleted. Consequently, effective immediately the AGEP office at UB will not be able to receive or process any new funding requests.

All reimbursements for previously approved funding requests will be honored, and affected students will be contacted regarding appropriate procedures to obtain such reimbursements. Any questions regarding reimbursements should be directed to Elizabeth Stone by email at ess@buffalo.edu or by phone at (716)645-6227.

Currently, we are awaiting a public announcement from NSF regarding the long-delayed opportunity to apply for renewed AGEP funding. If we are successful in obtaining such additional funding, we expect to re-open our AGEP office in the Graduate School and resume providing programming for and support of AGEP-eligible students at UB. All AGEP-eligible students will be notified if and when such new funding becomes available to us.
