Office of Postdoctoral Scholars
Welcome to The Graduate School web pages for the Office of Postdoctoral Scholars. The OPS provides a formal communication link among Postdoctoral Scholars, faculty, and the University administration. We provide assistance for new Postdoctoral Scholars with information for new employees at UB including off campus housing, and tips on life in Buffalo. We will offer all scholars enhanced training opportunities through targeted seminars and research symposia as well as hosting social functions for Postdoctoral Scholars from across the University. Special events and services for International Postdoctoral Scholars will also be highlighted. Our mission also includes support and guidance for faculty who employ Postdoctoral Scholars. We have also joined the National Postdoc Association (NPA) so all postdoctoral scholars and faculty members at UB may apply for a free affiliate membership.

News:
- Postdoctoral Association:
- We at the UB Postdoctoral Association (PDA) are pleased to announce the launch of our website. Please visit http://www.grad.buffalo.edu/pda/ to find out more. The PDA was formed to create a sense of community among postdocs across the university by organizing social events, and to provide career-related information that will benefit postdocs in their future careers. Our website provides information on the PDA Executive Committee, the events we have organized so far, and upcoming events, as well as the Office of Postdoctoral Scholars, which supports the activities of the PDA.
- The PDA is YOUR association, so if you have any questions, comments or suggestions for future educational or social events that you would like us to organize, we want to hear from you!
- Feel free to contact one of our co-presidents Dr. Jurgen Bulitta (jbulitta@buffalo.edu), Dr. Silvia Brown (svbrown@buffalo.edu) or Dr. Viviana Montecinos (viviana.montecinos@roswellpark.org).
