If you need additional help financing your graduate or professional education, U.S. citizens should apply for financial aid by filling out a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online. The FAFSA is an application for student aid that collects the basic information needed to determine your eligibility for all of the financial aid programs sponsored by the federal government. If you are a New York State resident, and include the University at Buffalo in "Step Six" of your FAFSA, you will automatically receive an Express TAP (New York State Tuition Assistance Program) Application by mail. Learn more by visiting UB's financial aid website.

For eligible students, there are a number of ways to finance the cost of graduate education through Financial Aid programs administered by the University, the State of New York and the federal government. You many receive more detailed information by contacting the Student Response Center - Financial Aid, University at Buffalo (716) 645-2450 or Toll Free 1-866-838-7257.
